Posi-Track
4810
The Posi-Track 4810 is the largest and most powerful of the ASV line-up,
a serious workhorse for serious jobs. With the Maximum Traction and
Support System™ undercarriage and Cat Power, it has the power
to dig and backfill, the stability and precision control for fine
grading, the low ground pressure to work on sensitive surfaces, and
the tractive power to negotiate difficult terrain. It’s a highly
versatile and productive machine on both conventional and extraordinary
jobs. The 4810 is the ideal way to bring value to any business that
works long hours and tough jobs. |

MTSS
Undercarriage
At the heart of the 4810 Posi-Track is ASV’s proprietary rubber
track undercarriage technology with 48 wheeled contact points and
multiple levels of suspension. The result is exceptional traction
and ground-breaking digging ability — all while exerting extremely
low ground pressure (3.0 psi). |
|
|
Powertrain
The 4810 is powered by a 105 hp (78 kW) Cat 3054T diesel engine, making
it the most powerful of the Posi-Track All Purpose Crawlers. It comes
equipped with premium Cat filters throughout for highest reliability.
A tandem pump is driven from the engine driveshaft. The two pump sections
are independently controlled by the propel levers at the operator
station. Pumps provide hydraulic flow to drive motors and final drive
sprockets on each undercarriage which turn the tracks.
Quick Attach Work Tool Interface
When equipped with loader arms, the 4810 Posi-Track becomes a highly
versatile platform for a wide range of work tools and attachments.
Loader arms include an industry-standard quick-attach interface. And
with standard low and high flow auxiliary hydraulics, the Posi-Track
is ready to run most attachments. |

Integral
Frame-mount Receptacle
An integrated frame mount receptacle allows the use of a backhoe attachment,
a six-way dozer blade or a three-point hitch and an optional power
take off (PTO). The three-point hitch is ideal for pulling work tools
and implements, such as agricultural applications.
Operator Station
The 4810 operator station offers plenty of room and visibility both
forward and to the rear. Access and egress is through a tall, wide
doorway. No foot pedals on standard machines mean fewer trip points
and more leg room. The operator seat is reversible so the machine
can be operated bi-directionally. This simplifies using the 4810
as a tractor to pull implements.
Machine Controls
Tracks are driven by two independent hydraulic drive motors which
are controlled through a hydrostatic transmission. Independent power
is available to each track, allowing counter-rotation and power-turns
with precision. Drive controls are operated with a single hand while
the loader functions are controlled by the other.
Serviceability
Hinged engine enclosure allows hood to swing up and away for quick,
easy access to the engine. The radiator and oil cooler swing open,
allowing access to both sides for easy and thorough cleaning. Other
service features include:
• hydraulic filters neatly housed
on manifold;
• pusher fan and hood screens minimize the need to clean cooler
cores;
• engine air filter located for easy access and replacement;
• drive shaft is sealed and maintenance-free.
