The flail mower has a 48-inch cutting width and a height adjustment from 0 to 4.5 inches. Sixty-four fine-cut reversible knives provide the cutting action. Knives are attached to a 4.5 inch rotor tube which rotates to speeds up to 2190 rpm. The mower operates on the RC•30's standard 10 gallons per minute and 3000 psi auxiliary hydraulic flow.

The rotor is belt-driven from a hydraulic motor and is protected by a sturdy shield. The shield is easily removed for quick, easy access to the belt. The belt has a spring-loaded tightener for tension adjustment.

The entire mower frame and housing is constructed of sturdy steel, including a 10-gauge steel hood. It easily attaches to the RC•30's loader-mounted quick-attach interface. Quick-connect hydraulic couplers and hoses are also included.
