ASV
offers eight different bit sizes for the RC-30, ranging from 6-inches to 30-inches
diameter. Four auger bits are available for the RC-50. The smaller bits work
well in hard soil, whereas the larger bits work great for planting small trees
and shrubs in softer soil. All bits feature a minimum 36-inch dig depth and
have replaceable heat-treated teeth.
The RC-30 auger drive unit features a heat-treated alloy 2-9/16 inch round
drive shaft, and adjustable chain reduction drive. The RC-50 auger drive
unit features heat-treated alloy 2-inch hex drive shaft and a planetary drive.
Auger bits are not interchangeable between the RC-30 and RC-50 drive units.
